Local Discounts

As one of the cornerstone railroads in the North Coast region, with a long history serving the area – as transport, as freight, as mail service, and as a fun outing for locals – the Skunk Train takes its role in the community seriously. We are happy to extend our Local Discount rates to residents of Mendocino, Humboldt, and Lake Counties.

Local rates can be booked online using your zip code. A proof of residency (a state or government-issued ID with a local address) must be presented when you pick up your boarding passes at one of our depot locations.
